My Story

let's talk!

Health and wellness have always been an important part of my story. As far back as I can remember, I paid close attention to what I was eating and how I felt afterwards. This approach has worked well for me and I have remained in good health for most of my life.

 

But by 2016, I started gaining weight regardless of what or how much I ate. I began to get concerned about my habits and decided to closely study and learn more about  different foods and their influences on the body. During my studies, I learned many fascinating details about the body's reaction to the different foods it was being introduced to. One of my many new findings showed that some food can cause inflammation which can eventually lead to the diseases.


While I was learning, I began to personally experiment and try out the methods I was learning about. I began to do an elimination diet to discover how not eating certain foods impacted my overall health. I wanted to see the impact firsthand on how I felt and what number popped up on the scale. By 2017, I was feeling much  better and started to advised  friends and family with the information I learned.


Today, I have lost more than 30 pounds and feel much better. In 2018, I began my training to be a professional health coach, because I wanted to share my knowledge about and passion for eating the right foods and to help support people to make good choices for improving their health and wellness.

I am a Certified Health and Wellness Coach

 

 

My career is dedicated to working with individuals who are at various stages of focusing on their total health. I help guide them as they work to change their lifestyle, to eat healthier, to look and MOST IMPORTANTLY to feel better. Often, people are very open to making lifestyle changes but do not know which direction to go in. This can be very frustrating  and demoralizing, causing some individuals to feel depressed. I am here to guide you so that you can have a rewarding and satisfying journey, not a short-lived grievance. I have helped many people achieve their goals to live happier and more active lives, even when they did not know how to begin.

 

I received my training as Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. My role is to support and guide you to reach your personal goals to move you toward your ideal life.
